Flowfox Partners with Hapag-Lloyd, Kühne+Nagel
Our booming logistics tech player sails towards a Series A
MobilityFund believes in the future of logistics and transportation, and there’s no greater example of that than our investment into Flowfox. We first participated in its seed round one year prior, and have been thrilled to watch the company, led by Patrick Pehmöller, quickly progress in the time since.
We believe the future is bright for Flowfox, as it has just begun a pioneering pilot, set to redefine the global import container release processes. The project launches this Summer in France and Germany, supported by Hapag-Lloyd AG, the world’s fourth largest shipping company, as well as global-class freight forwarders like Kühne+Nagel.
This uptake by the industry’s premiere players positions Flowfox as the global standard for container import automation and ocean carrier standardization. We see this as a “winner take all” space, where every carrier benefits from being on the same platform.
As a software solution, Flowfox can easily scale to meet this growing demand. We’re excited to participate in the company’s upcoming Series A round, with follow-on investment from our second fund. Additionally, we’ve set up a specialized investment entity for this unique opportunity, which is open to strategic investors in the logistics and cargo space (freight forwarders, terminal operators, etc.) as well as LPs in our broader funds and select members of our investment network.
